Sion and Suzi Milosky
Sion Milosky was a well respected man in and out of the water - a pioneer of the big wave paddle-in movement, devoted family man and husband. He was regarded as one of the most mentally and physically prepared watermen in the ranks. He gave no less than 100 percent to everything in life, which he shared with his wife Suzi and daughters Awakea and Sariyah. With the blessing and support of his wife, his passion and dedication spurred our safety movement into action and Sion’s legacy stands as our moral compass. Suzi’s dedication to this cause is deeply personal, through her unique connection to the mission. She also knows better then anyone what it means to live like Sion. Through the BWRAG, Sion’s legacy lives on.
From northern Brazil and now a permanent resident of Hawaii with his young family, Danilo lives a life fueled by passion. Chasing huge waves and tubes around the world is what drives him. Taking his kids stand up paddling in small waves in front of his house and cooking Mukeka (traditional Brazilian food) for his family is what motivates him to return home safely. A constant buzz of super-human energy, Danilo is a huge driver of the Big Wave Risk Assessment Group.
